Here are a bunch of sites where you can post your music, interact with listeners, musicians and other industry professionals. Each site is different in it's options and pricing. If you are a band, solo musician or just want to hear some great music passed over by the big boys then check out these options. I have heard a lot of really great music on theses sites, many with free downloads, and I have met some really talented songwriters and musicians that are just plain good people.
Post 3 songs free or 10 with a $59.95 annual membership. Lots of plays here and some solid music from other independent artists to listen to.

Mixposure - Free space for 5 songs or join for $36.00 per year and post up to 25 songs. These are the two plans to choose from here. There are a number of quality musicians on this site and a lot of extra features for $3.00 a month. A nice number of plays and good regular feedback if you are active on the site. Unsigned Band Web is a free service for independent artists where you can load up to 10 songs. Three other plans add up to 250 songs, deep linking and lots of other options for stepped prices up to $11.99 per month. You can get some good feedback on your material if you take the time to listen to others music and ask for it. They do not broadcast Internet radio. World Wide Songwriters Association - Yep, free music uploads, bandpage and photos. - http://www.wwswa.com/index.asp 29 songs for $35.00 per year. You an also sell your CD's for free and get opportunity updates on publishers, artists and labels that are looking for songs. The plays are good here though not much feedback. Here is my HOME PAGE.

CD BABY : Based in Portland, Oregon. There is a one time fee of $35.00 per CD and you have to send 5 CD's to get started. You get a pre-designed home page (with your information), links to your own web site on-line sales of your music and a lot more services and connections. SongPlanet allows 25 mb of audio storage with a home page and internet radio of the music from their site. All independent artists. MP3 Unsigned.com provides 3 songs for free with an artist page, news page, photos, and lots more in the upgrade for $50.00.

LOCALS ONLINE: Based in Portland, Oregon. They will sell your CD's on consignment - on line - and provide space for a few web pages. There is no set up fee and you can customize your pages - including audio/video samples. You supply the CD's, by mail, and upload your own samples.
