October
21, 2005 I played a song a wrote for a retirement party at Stangland Vineyard
just outside of Salem. I used a Dylan musical theme as time was short
and it fit the moment. Titled Paul
He is a'Leavin it was a resounding hit with all the attendees. Paul,
who I have worked with for several years is retiring in a few days and
moving to Costa Rica. Best of fortune, my friend.

June Moon played at Boccherinis in Albany on September 23, 2005 That was our first performance as a duo and provided a lot of feedback on how much farther we have to go. We enjoyed both the solid musical moments and those that reminded us we are still just getting our footing as a duo. Overall it was another enjoyable musical mark made in time. |

Following
that event there was a guitar player, Jerry Johnson, from another configuration
that was interested in playing with "The Network" and soon we
began getting together on Friday nights to work on some tunes. Dynamics
and schedules stole away the enjoyment and I suddenly found myself working
with Angela in June Moon. Things kind of fizzled out after a few months
and I found myself working on a duo project JUNE MOON with Angela Foshaug.
We'll see.

I was out of sorts for the most part in the early months of 2005. I was working on a couple of projects when Loretta (my wife and companion of 26 years passed away the 1st of March) Everything was put on hold or discarded entirely at that point. I did manage to join several friends in a semi-rehearsed jam at Marilyn's parents 45th wedding anniversary in July. A beautiful day with a wide variety of music and good friends. I was playing with a loosely formed group "The Network" featuring Tim Lamberson on drums and vocal , Terry Schneider on Bass, Marilyn Lamberson on Guitar and vocal, Angela Foshaug on Mandolin and myself on acoustic guitars, flute and vocals. We played mostly originals from Tim, Marilyn and myself with a few covers we all favored for the vibe. The time proved to be another enjoyable musical experience for me and was very healing at the time. |

February 2005 I wrote a custom song for a company called Wellness
One. This company specializes in networking various medical practicioners
through common philosophy, total person care with a themes of wellness
and prevention. Chiropractors, massage therapists, acupunctuists, nutritionists
and others are currently in the network. I wrote this song for presentations
when recruiting new practioners.
