10/26/06 - This past year has been so busy and full of so many changes. I have been working on a few new musical ideas and developing new musical skills. The songs that I have written have mostly been custom songs for hire - Birthday gifts, anniversaries, retirements. What a blessing to get into someones world and touch the people around them. I have really loved doing this.

I played a donut shop in March and hit the local Open Mics a couple of times and then the venues all changed again.

I am anxiously awaiting the birth of my first grandchild as my daughter is due 11/7/06 and just got married a couple of weeks ago.

Now the Holidays kick in and personal time gets squeezed. There may be a tune or two before the year is over, though I expect the current focus to take a few months to result in a new recording. I have been building my internet fan base this past year and continue to get increased exposure in various venues on the net. Check out the musical links if you are interested.

11/4/06 - Emma Jean found her way into the world today at 10:22 a.m. She is absolutely beautiful. In less than an hour of her birth I had presented her with her first birthday card, sang the first live song to her and told her the first joke. 12/31/06 - Playing at the Riverhouse in Pacific City tonight for New Year's Eve. The place is on the market and I just could not let it go without another gig there. It's a non-advertised walk on gig - I just like to go play my original music there. Anyway, I know I will enjoy playing and singing for one of the best meals anywhere in the West. HAPPY NEW YEAR.
