December 2008 - I updated all of the mp3 files to higher quality files and updated all of the links to them to activate a flash player. You will need flash player 7.0 from Macromedia on your computer to listen to these files. I also added some Christmas songs for the Holiday Season. You can listen to them here.
In September I finished my newest recording project Next 3 Miles and sent it in to Crazy Daisy Productions in Eugene, Oregon for mastering. I think they did a very nice job smoothing everything out and am very satisfied with the end result. I also finalized some of my live recordings from the past year into two CD's; Coastal Concerts 1 and Coastal Concerts 2.
August 16, 2008 - I played for Bill and Heidi Schmidt's 50th wedding anniversary party in Lincoln City. I played the guitar I had just finished building and that made the occasion even more special for me.
June 16, 2008 - the handmade guitar is finished and I play a few tunes on the deck overlooking (and hearing) the ocean waves. An awesome feeling to have made this instrument and now to enjoy it's vibrations and sounds. What an absolute treat this has been. Thank you so much Mr. Tom Dollar for the time, the patience, the knowledge and most of all for being a friend. May 22 and June 5, 2008 - I played 3 favorites at the Cafe Mundo Open Mic. I was well accepted there and will probably look into doing a solo gig or two there in the future.
April 7, 2008 - Played this evening at one of my favorite venues - The Riverhouse Restaurant in Pacific City. Saw a few old friends and spent a couple hours doing something I love.
January 26 and March 22, June 7, 2008 - Big Mountain Coffee Company. I played a couple of Saturday night concerts using 6 string, 12 string and the Taylor T-5 guitars in rotation and added some harmonica in on a few selected tunes. I was pleased with the reception from the small crowd, especially their consideration. A nice venue for the singer songwriter. Big Mountain Coffee Company is located in Lincoln Beach, just south of Depot Bay.
