THE KNOWING

Daybreak and the sun is bright
fills the world with warmth and light
running off the dark of night
it's morning

There's a message in the wind
blowing softly like a friend
telling stories of the end
A warning

And all the dreams that haunt you
throughout your day
bring the lessons to help you
find your way
and if you really understand
the things you see
the knowing sets you free

Meet your challenges straight on
don't give up until their gone
be persistent like the dawn
You're growing

Don't be caught up in being down
push the ends to the middle ground
listen closely for the sound
of knowing

When the sunshine fades away
and nightfall ends the passing day
another chance to find your way
In living

And when you're lost in the dark of night
call upon your source of light
make the world around you bright
by giving
