FOR THE RECORD

Sitting on the banks of the river by the sea
There's a little restaurant I know
Everything's all set for you and me
To play the Saturday evening show

Thanks for calling
I've enjoyed all the times we've had
Sometimes it seems like we're just singing along
With the crashing waves upon the sand

Spent a lot of my younger days around these parts
Seen so many changes through the times
And sitting here today in the Riverhouse
I found a moment to unwind

You know some famous people passed through here
Just to catch a salmon from the sea
They heard about the Dory's and the catch of the year
Another stop along the way

I'm looking into the future and it's shining bright
I've been paying my dues along the way
The time has come to set the record right
One more thing I want to say
