LIFE FULL OF LOVE

He might grow up to be a concrete cowboy
He might grow up to be a fireman
He might grow up to fly a shuttle deep into space
Around the universe and back again

He might grow up to be on the quiet side
He might find himself with a multitude of friends
He might grow up believing that cats are really cool
I'm guessing he'll prefer the dogs instead

One thing is as certain as the heaven's high above
He'll always have a life full of love

He might grow up to be a politician
and change the world with a stroke of his pen
More likely he will want to be a quarterback
throwing touchdown passes over and over again

Somewhere in the background they'll be grandpa
with a fishing pole or a new guitar in hand
Offering advice and funny stories
that he won't have to tell his mom and dad

So here we sit today anticipating
just who Aiden Scott will grow to be
Knowing that he'll always have the greatest gift of all
Matt and Sarah and a loving family

I know he'll have a super sense of humor
judging by the laughter he'll be fed
I know he'll have his trials and tribulations
just like all the rest of us did

Aiden I don't know if you can hear me
as I sing this song I wrote for you
All I really hope is that your happy with your life
whatever it is you might choose to do
