MY BACKYARD

I've got the shining sun and the flowers bloom
Watch the garden grow in the month of June
I've got a chicken on the Barbecue
Who could ask for anything more

I got a butterfly sailing on the breeze
I got a shady spot under tall fir trees
I got a lady here pretty as you please

Well I could ask for a little bit more than what I got
but I was so enlightened when I thought
that it's alright with me
the way things seem to be
sitting here in my backyard

I got a home, a car, a studio
I got a couple kids to keep me on the go
I got the video when things are slow

but I still can't wait till quitting time
