HAIR ON MY EAR

I woke up this morning feeling kind of old
One too many days of doing what I had been told
And while I was a shaving looking in the mirror
I saw a hair growing from my ear

I tried to eat some breakfast but my stomach was in knots
suddenly growing old was worse than I had thought
So get a pair of scissors, the tweezers or the nair
Anything to get rid of this hair

I don't want this hair on my ear
or hair on my nose
I don't want no hair on my knuckles
of my fingers or my toes
I'll keep the hair upon my head
I've always held so dear
but I don't want this hair on my ear

I've always tried to show an attitude of youthfulness
but this hair upon my ear has made my mind a mess
If somebody notices then everyone will hear
I've got a grey hair growing from my ear

With hair upon my face I'd be like every other man
but this hair upon my ear I just can't stand
It might seem peculiar that I feel this way
But when I saw the hair upon my ear it made me say

Hair around my navel a few upon my chest
wouldn't bother me too much I'd be like all the rest
But at this very moment I'm living my worst fear
a giant hair is growing from my ear
