FIRE IN THE SKYS

Fire in the skies
hides the melting soil
from the piercing eyes of God
Shamed we are
by the mistakes we've made
in our attempts to light the night

Don't you know how to make the light shine
Don't you realize the way that it's done
Damn the artificial power forms
What the Heaven is wrong with the sun
with the sun

Killing Planet Earth
for the lust of gold
how could we be so deceived
All the alibis
they are only lies
how could anyone believe

Fire in the skies
another meltdown
All this madness simply has to cease
Don't you understand
this is our only land
Don't blow it up for the golden fleece
