THE EXECUTIVE MODE

Mister Director the executive mode
in his Mercedes on the cellular phone
cutting deals he's got the control
but when he gets home he's all alone

The executive mode - can't find the road
sitting on the commode

You think the world is your marionette
treating people like a two dollar bet
cashing in on every hand
there's part of the plan you just don't understand

Can't hide the feelings to get away
cut off the strings of your puppet play
I can't stay here I'm hitting the road
got to get away
from the executive mode

Everything that you tried to control
Has got your soul in a strangle hold
and everyday you look in the mirror
What you see is what you fear
