SPINNING AROUND IN THE CLOUDS

Sitting in the sand by the crystal sea
thinking of a long lost friend
that final kiss still on my lips
I didn't recognize the end
of it all
where have you gone
the end of it all
I'm not feeling that strong
but I pick myself up as the count winds down
got to get my feet on some solid ground
cause my head is just spinning around in the clouds

There's this emptiness that won't let go
and my heart is full of holes
and my head is just spinning around in the clouds

The road I'm on has gotten so dark
I'm just an old dog without any bark
and my head is just spinning around in the clouds

Alone in my bed on a moonlit night
wonder which dream is gonna wake me tonight
I know it's not wrong but it sure ain'tt right
I'm still the same man that I've always been
I'm just a little lonely and I'm missing my friend
and my head is spinning around in the clouds
