JOIN THE CIRCUS

That golden rose is gonna bloom well before the month of June
I can feel it in the light of the moon
A simple pleasure that will be, playing my part in this mystery
a moment I'll be granted none too soon

I'm tired of the world trying to wash my mind
If I had a test for common sense, I could lead the blind
the golden rose always brings a sign
you gotta join the circus or you gotta get back in line

I'm looking up at venus and the stars that light the sky
the miracle of life is the vision in my eye
another simple pleasure of Heaven's paradise
This is it - the moment - do or die

I'm tired of the people that just don't understand
that saving our environment can be the only plan
and teaching to our children the better side of man
you gotta join the circus and get your head out of the sand

Highway calls the vehicles late into the night
the news is almost always negative
Club somebody half to death in the city streets
they might begin to see what you believe
