SEVEN
HARVEST MOONS
Friendly
voice on the wind tonight
taking my breath away
The thoughts that crash inside my mind
can't find the words to say
I know it's been a long time
seven harvest moons or more
Since I had this feeling I remember from before
Total
eclipse of the moon tonight
man I wish you were here
We'd sit up on some rooftop,
share a glass of beer
And toss all of these worldly cares
into the atmosphere
Cause a night like this
makes everything so clear
the reason
for us being here at all
is held within our human heart
so fragile and so small
And the power of connections
cut off way too soon
They're still living on, far beyond
seven harvest moons
Water
flows underneath the bridge
like the time that passed us by
Giving cause and reason
to the tear that clouds my eye
and I never knew way back when
we were climbing up the dune
the past would be so vivid
after seven harvest moons
